May 1st: Concert Featuring the Highlander Strings Orchestra

On Thursday May 1st at 6:00PM we will be performing a one-of-a-kind show with the Highland Park High School Strings Orchestra in Dallas, TX. The full-length show is in honor of the school’s Centennial year, and will feature our music accompanied by 80+ string players! This is by far a first for us…and a first for the “Scots” of Highland Park. The event is FREE w/ Advance Ticket. But there will be limited seating. Only 200 tickets will be held by the school for our fans. These are balcony seats with a great view and will only be available on a first come-first served basis. So, in order to claim your tickets, you must send an email to tickets@killdares.com to reserve your spot, at which time you should receive an automated confirmation e-mail response. Your name will be added to a ticket reservation guest list of attendees, and will be verified at Will Call upon entry to the event on day of show. Maximum 4 tickets allowed per reservation.

2013 has been another significant year for The Killdares. All that we continue to achieve has been made possible through the support, dedication, friendship and togetherness offered by YOU…our loyal fans everywhere. And so, as another year comes to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the continued support.
Our tour schedule continues to grow, and this past year we traveled near and far all over the U.S. to spread our grassroots sound. But it wouldn’t have been possible without you! From all over our home state of Texas to Oklahoma…from Ohio to Chicago…from Connecticut to Iowa…and from places like New York all the way down to Florida, our fans went to incredible lengths to raise awareness of the band and show up front-and-center by the thousands to support our independent music. And for that we are truly grateful.
This year also saw the addition of a few endorsement opportunities to our tour gear family. And so…we would also like to thank ALL of our endorsement companies including Gator Cases, Westone, Pearl Drums, Gibson Guitars, Sennheiser Microphones, D’Addario Strings, Evans Drumheads, Silver Fox Drumsticks and Ernie Ball…as they are the ones that continue to support us while out on tour. And through wonderful working relationships with companies such as this, we are able to survive on stage…and on the road…as we go from gig to gig.
It has been an exciting year for us all. But even more exciting times are ahead! So again…Thank You all for being part of our mission to spread Celtic Rock…one concert at a time.
