Introducing Troy Gallaher

Posted by The Killdares on May 2, 2009

Dear fans and friends:

We’re pleased to introduce you to our new bass player, Troy Gallaher.

Troy joined our rhythm section on bass, making his debut with the band during the recent St. Paddy’s Day season, along with some TV appearances on WFAA’s Good Morning Texas and Fox’s Good Day Dallas.

Searching for a new member is like adding someone to the family. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found Troy, a multi-instrumentalist with a great feel for timing, groove and melody. He’s not only adept at playing bass, but is skilled at drums, keys, guitar and vocals as well. He’s a great addition to our melodic-driven sound.

Troy’s skills are rooted in Pop, Rock, Progressive Country and Americana. His diversity has allowed him to make a seamless transition into The Killdares musically and personally.

Top off his musical professionalism with a winning personality that syncs nicely with everyone in the group and we’ve found ourselves both a great bass player and a new friend.

Before joining The Killdares, Troy played in a number of bands and recorded two albums. He is currently endorsed by Spector Bass and IK Multimedia.

Troy replaces Jim Dawson who left the group earlier this year to pursue other creative opportunities. We are so grateful to Jim for his many contributions to the band and we wish him all the best.
So, come on out and catch one of our upcoming shows and introduce yourself to Troy. We’re eager for our fans to meet the newest member of the clan!

Tim, Roberta, Matt, & Brek
